battery operated have been working together since 2000 when they met in Melbourne, Australia. Made up of Tomkz (sound), Wade Walker (sound) and beewoo (video), their first release was chases through non-place. Their second album – vecuum – was the C0C0S0l1DC1T1 label's first release and an interactive installation also sprang up from the collaboration.

Rooftops were the overground references that provided battery operated with the source material for this click-ridden, messed-up, beats-driven sound elevator that shoots through the ceiling.
